Annie Lee was an awesome encourager who had a way of making everyone feel special. LEE, Annie (nee Revesz) December 11, 1950 - October 25, 2020 Annie (Revesz) Lee was born on December 11, 1950 in the town of Melfort, Saskatchewan and was raised in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. Anne, as she liked to be called, married Ronald Lee on July 7, 1972 in Edmonton, Alberta. Anne had many jobs throughout her life.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., Brownsville M.B. Church, Brownsville Road, Bolton, MS 39041.
Mrs. Annie Lee Robinson Mitchell was born on December 21, 1943 in Bolton, Mississippi, to the late Rev. McClenty Augustus Robinson and the late Mrs. Jessie Lee Walker. Annie Lee accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized and united with Brownsville Missionary Baptist Church and remained there her entire life. She faithfully served on the Mothers’ Board.
Annie Lee received her education in the Hinds County Public Schools system. She was an alumna of Sumner Hill High School. She also dutifully served for more than three decades in the restaurant hospitality industry, culminating her career as a food service supervisor with Holiday Inn (Southwest) on Highway 80 West in Jackson. Annie Lee’s passion for and expertise in cooking earned her numerous awards and recognition throughout the state of Mississippi. She was also an avid football fan and during football season could be found enthusiastically cheering for Dak and her beloved Dallas Cowboys every Sunday… of course AFTER church,that is.
Annie Lee married the love of her life, Mr. L.C. Mitchell, on March 31, 1959. To this union, seven children were born and two sons were adopted. The couple was happily married for more than 60 years.
Annie Lee’s love for her children was well known by everyone who knew her. She also deeply loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Annie Lee was the perfect example of a devoted wife and a strong and steadfast matriarch who always freely and lovingly gave of herself in support of her family, friends and community.
“Mrs. Annie,” as many affectionately called her, took special pride in her appearance. She was known to be one of the best dressers around as she embraced her amazing array of hats and other stylish fashion. Her inner beauty was just as stunning as her outer beauty.

Annie Lee departed her earthly journey on August 8, 2020. She is now in heavenly paradise with her husband who recently passed away on February 9, 2020.
